Coconut

Coconuts offer a wealth of uses, notably from the fruit flesh, water, and oil, from the coconut palm, the palm’s sap, the leaves, and the shells. But, primarily, the nutritional benefits attributed to coconut are owed to the medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These are fatty acids found in the fruit of the coconut that are associated with boosting energy, fighting bacterial growth, and supporting cardiovascular health.
